[ooc: Intro post]
Dec. 20th, 2012 09:18 pmGilbert Beilschmidt (Prussia) is enrolled in Gakuen Hetalia. He is on his last year of High School. He would have graduated sooner, but the teachers felt he was lacking in the appropriate academical skills.
Gil was a very smart student. In fact, everyone knows he has the highest IQ among all the students. He gets 100 or A+ on all his exams, without exception. In any school competition, he always comes out as the winner. But he never gets 1st honor. He was never the class valedictorian. Because they always nagged him about not meeting the necessary academic requirements.
They say Gil lacks student ethics, skills and requirements. Why is this? Because Gil hated the school's system. He never liked abiding by it. He hated attending classes. They were boring. There was nothing in their lectures that Gil couldn't understand and learn from reading the prescribed textbook. He always felt like he was attending a reading classes. 'I can read, morons', is what he'd always say. He read the books prescribed for the whole year within one week of the class starting. And he was very good at memorizing things, so he never forgot a single word.
So rather than bore his awesome mind, Gil would always run out of the classroom before the professor came, and grab some books in the library. He was a nerd that way, but Gil enjoyed reading books. Not in front of others. He'd always hide on the rooftop and read the stack of books he acquired that day.
The rooftop was like his secret hideout. It was his territory. No one was allowed to go up there without his consent. He'd usually run up here when he had to clear his head, when he was lonely, when he was not feeling that awesome, or when he simply needed an awesome drink and some cigars.
Aside from the lack of attendance. Gil also hated doing homework. He always thought he was too awesome for homework. This got him in trouble a lot with his teachers. And sometimes when he felt like it, he'd say that his homework was eaten by his chick, Gilbird. Because he was awesome enough to eat paper.
He also never wears the prescribed school cardigan. He'd always wear a red hoodie instead. Because he thinks uniforms are a way of suppressing the students ideals and creativity. He was too awesome for uniforms.
Aside from the lack of homework, proper uniform, and attendance, mostly Gil was an awesome student. But he does get called in the Principals office a lot because of nosy teachers who have too much free time in their hands.
